Absolutely stunning hotel AND the staff!! The best hotel food we have ever had! Breakfast, lunch and dinner! Lovely people, it felt like visiting your relatives. Beautiful, large rooms with amazing views. AND they have a bowling alley downstairs for guests!!
Excellent hotel run by very good staff, everything about this place is great, and the family who run it always go above and beyond to make your stay memorable...
Been here in March 2023 with a group of 43 IT guys and girls (and one dog) in total. The week was wonderful! Great food! Nice rooms! Very friendly and kind, all persons in the hotel, from owner Michele to the total team were top friendly! Fantastic views in the dolomites, for sure!
We will come back!
Wonderful family hotel with incredibly friendly and helpful staff and amazing attention to detail. The food and the rooms were also fantastic. I would love to return!
Our road biking group was based out of Cesa Tyrol for a week. We really enjoyed the hospitality, food, amenities & rooms. Highly recommended!
The hotel is well-located, with easy access to the ski slopes (15 minutes walk to the Gondola station, but in the mornings & afternoons we used the hotel’s regular shuttle service, which was excellent and very quick). The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with large beds, plenty of storage and surface-space, and beautiful views. Our bathroom was a bit dated, but still excellent, and a really hot & powerful shower which we loved. The house-keeping team were so friendly and efficient too.
The staff are what makes this place (and the food) - the team were so friendly and helpful, and happy to let me practice my terrible Italian speaking! The reception team and the restaurant/bar team were all exceptional, but massive gratitude to Daniel who worked in the restaurant every morning & evening of our trip, and was incredibly attentive. The bar had some great local wines, an impressive range of cocktails, and delicious bar snacks.
The restaurant serves delicious regional cuisine, made with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients, and it was exciting every morning to see the menu for that evening, and select which dishes we wanted. The salad bar/buffet for the first course was outstanding - not just salads, but meat carpaccios, salmon, prawn crackers, grilled vegetables, focaccia slices, coleslaws and greek salad, which changed day to day. The food was exceptional, and you absolutely won’t go hungry. On the daily menus there were also veggie options too.
Breakfast was very good, with an extensive range of cereals, breads, sweets (cakes, croissants, tarts), yoghurts and toppings (seeds, grains, dried berries, etc). There was also a thing to boil eggs. I think you might be able to order omelettes but this wasn’t advertised and we discovered this too late in the holiday unfortunately (as I would have much preferred a hot breakfast).
The hotel has a recently-installed sauna and a hot tub located on the second floor, and the sauna was excellent, and sat at 90-degrees every afternoon/evening, with lightly-scented eucalyptus water to splash onto the slate wall or coals.
Overall, the Cesa Tyrol is a top choice for those seeking a comfortable and enjoyable ski vacation in Canazei, with an incredible ski area and beautiful town.
Our first visit to The Cesa Tyrol was an absolute pleasure. We have stayed in several hotels in Canazei and Campitello in the past and none compares with this.
Food is varied and plentiful and always of top quality, with lots of choices on the menu. Service in the restaurant is extremely efficient, helpful and friendly. Standards of cleanliness both in the bedrooms and throughout the hotel are probably the best we have ever seen!
The hotel owners/managers are ever-present, hard-working and nothing seems to be too much trouble for them.
We look forward to returning soon.
Very nice hotel to stay. The workers are very professionals. They will make your stance like you will be in your home. Also the instalations are very clean and very close to the ski station.
